Olympian, Arjuna Awardee, former captain of Indian Hockey Team, India’s Hockey Gem and known International figure. Mr. Singh has a vision of developing India into a country which not only views academics with much respect but also respects sports equally.

The journey started in the year 1992 when Mr. Singh along with the founding members of our School started working in the area of education by providing free of cost education in the rural areas of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. As they all were Indian Government Employees back then, they could only contribute so much that the makeshift schools were self-run and self-dependent.

The team went on to create many success stories one after the other until they decided to form the Trust / NGO.  Mr. Singh’s commitment toward the Government could not let him be a part of it though, but his contributions even on the weekends in his free time were much beneficial in forming an environment of education. Apart from the philanthropic contribution of teaching and guiding the staff and the students every now and then, Mr. Singh has played an instrumental role in motivating generations at GVA.
