Sports : A Way of Life NGO motivates budding sportspersons at Sanskar Dham in Gujrat



In what could be called a national recognition of our initiative to reach out to parents as well as to budding sports persons to create a sports movement in the country, our  NGO  Sports a way of life recently received an invitation to deliver a motivational lecture to budding sportspersons at Sanskar Dham at Gujrat, an institution of national repute, is known for honing sporting skills of budding sportsmen along with their studies. Our NGO Sports: A Way of life has twin goals to bring out hidden talent to the sporting arena and develop sporting character and help the individuals in shaping their personalities,  

Our NGO president Mr Kanishka Pandey gave a motivational lecture to more than 500 students who had assembled from various schools of Gujrat to Sanskar Dham to listen to this motivational lecture on sports. Our President gave a call to these budding sportspersons as to why participation in sports has been necessary and how it will embed a character that will be a long companion for them in time to come. He also explained that sports and studies moves hand in hand and it should not be considered as spoiler. Wining Medal could be an immediate goal but character development should be the ultimate goal. He also explained that sports can embed 16 values such as honest integrity, punctuality, hard work, cooperation with other etc which no other vocation could practically transfer.   In top to down approach, Our NGO also distribute appeal to parents to allow their wards to participate in sports and athletics. Besides to sprout the seeds of sports among toddlers, the NGO also distributed Khel Praveshika(in Hindi), Know Sports( in English), the first of its kind sports alphabets developed for toddlers. Besides, Sports calendars were also distributed to these children. 

Present on the occasion included Dr RK Shah, chairman of Sanskar Dham, Secretary Sanskar Dham and BB Maheswari CAO of Sanskardham besides all the teachers and sports coaches.
